First look at the Lucas Museum
By: Jake Rajala
The George Lucas Museum will open to the public on my birthday (September 22nd). According to the New York Post, there will be high speed racers, ships, evil characters (such as Darth Vader and General Grievous). It wouldn’t be fair to ignore that the Millennium Falcon is there, too. Han Solo said it right to Chewbacca when they returned to the Falcon in “The Force Awakens”. He said, “Chewie, we’re home”.
The outside of if it looks like it could be more sleek than Apple park. The films Ex Machina and Avatar could even be less visually appealing than this. It looks like a legit spaceship.
The museum costs a billion dollars. His wife, Mellody, is a business woman that was involved with the creation of the project.
The Los Angeles city has Hollywood, Santa Monica, and it’s near Disneyland. This museum will be a nice addition. We know that Star Wars is a part of Disney, but this takes it to another level.
My favorite villain is none other than Darth Maul. It’s been reported that he is “heavilty” featured in the exhibit. Of course, I want to see the different phases of Anakin, from him as a boy, to a grown man.
There is also a library shown in the building. I hope it’s more impressive than my favorite library, Barnes and Noble.
The museum will be $25 dollars for adults and $21 dollars for seniors. Children under 17 are free. I love that it’s very cheap and that it’s free for kids. This museum will really inspire younglings.
