Ryan Gosling picked Star Wars

Ryan Gosling is one of the most underrated actors in the business. I have fond memories of my dad picking out the movie, “Drive”, to watch. Of course, Gosling is also in “Blade Runner 2049”, “The Notebook” and “The Fall Guy”. We are also anticipated him being in “Project Hail Mary”, which comes out in March 20th.
So, it appears that Ryan loves being in superb movies, but it seems he stays away from popular franchises. The question is: what made him join Star Wars?
His reasoning to join Star Wars is that he is a big fan of Shawn Levy, who is the director of the Star Wars film. He said, “It was Shawn’s enthusiasm and his vision and his script. He continued, “And I Just avoided these things because they never felt right. And I’m glad I did because I feel like [similar to] a book like this, [it was] worth waiting for. And it is like once in a lifetime opportunity.
Shawn Levy also did a phenomenal job with the likes of “Wolverine and Deadpool”, “Night at the Museum”, and even “The Internship”.
This Star Wars film comes five years after “The Rise of Skywalker”. Hopefully, this film can be much better than its prior film. The Rise of Skywalker recorded a 51% Rotten Tomatoes score. It’s unexpected given that J.J. Abrams was the director.
Of course, this film comes after “The Mandalorian and Grogu”, which comes out in late May. Jon Favreau is the director behind the film.
Gosling has been nominated for three academy awards. I really believe this has the making to be another elite film of his.
