What is George R.R. Martin’s favorite Star Wars show?

George R.R. Martin loves Star Wars

George R.R. Martin is a legendary figure in entertainment. His baby, Game of the Thrones, is one of the most popular TV series in the history of television. Of course, he is recognized as one of the best authors of all time. His first book, “Game of Thrones” came out in 1999 (which is the same year that I was born).

Well, he has passed on his praise to another blossoming TV Series. This one was in the world of Star Wars. It was called, “Andor”. It’s hard to blame him, as Andor has a 96% Rotten Tomatoes score. It was the highest non-animated Star Wars show.

So, he gave props to Andor. He said, “Andor was this year’s highlight, though”. He called it, “far and away the best of the Star Wars’s spin-off’s.”

He continued, “Looked gorgeous. Diego Luna was first rate, and there was a realism and tension to the story that was sadly lacking in most of the other spin-offs. It’s nice to see some doing science fiction right.”

Martin isn’t finished with his work in fiction. He is working on “The Winds of Winter”, which has no release date thus far. Martin has indicated that he’s 75% finished with the book. Martin has noted that the book and show will not have the same ending.

Personally, I love Andor the most, as well. I would put the Mandalorian and Obi’-Wan Kenobi as the next best pieces of work. Skeleton Crew is underrated, too.
