George Lucas is named the fourth greatest innovator

George Lucas is a legend

We all know the magic of George Lucas. He is the founder of Star Wars. Lucas was the director of “Star Wars: A New Hope” and the prequels (A Phantom Menace, The Clone Wars, and Revenge of the Sith). He is also behind the “Story” of the 1-6 Star Wars films. I believe the world of Star Wars is unmatched (whether it’s at a park or a film). I would have to say the world of Harry Potter is the second most heartwarming attraction (whether it’s in Universal Studios, or in a book, or in a film).

With that said, Lucas’s talents have been noticed. Forbes ranked Lucas as the fourth best innovator. Yes, you read that correctly. The 81 year old has changed culture and entertainment, to say the least.

There was an impressive reflection on Lucas in the Forbes article. It said, “One of the founding fathers of the modern blockbuster, Lucas also revolutionized movie merchandising, unleashing a never ending tsunami of Star Wars action figures and Indiana Jones lunch boxes. Through his special effects house industrial Light and Magic and THX sound outfit, he sold his tools to other moviemakers”.

The other influential people above him were Elon Musk (number one), Jeff Bezos (number two) and Bill Gates (number three). Lucas is more of a storyteller, while the other three are businessmen.

Ever since Lucas sold his baby to Disney, there has been non-stop shows and movies produced. We have seen many special filmmakers want to get involved with the movement (whether it’s shows or films). There isn’t an end in sight for Star Wars.
