5 interesting facts about Diego Luna

Diego Luna reflection

Diego Luna is the most underrated Star Wars actor. He plays Cassian Andor in “Rogue One” and Cassian in the hit show on Disney +, “Andor”. We still know little about his personal life. Hence, I’m going to lay out five interesting facts about him.

5. He was married to Camila Sodi

Camila Sodi was married to Camila Sodi. She is a Mexican singer and an actress. She is 39 years old. Some of her prominent screen moments are “Luis Miguel: The Series”. They were married from 2008-2013. He is currently dating the actress Marina De Tavira. She is in “Roma”, “Reminiscence”, and “The Freshly Cut Grass”.

4. Net worth

Diego has a net worth of $7 million dollars. He isn’t overly wealthy, but he does well. Fellow Star Wars actors get paid around several million. Hayden Christensen has gotten paid $10 million dollars. Ewan McGregor ($25 million) and Mark Hamill ($20 million) make more money, however.

3. Toluca, Mexico

Diego was born in Tolcua, but he grew up in none other than Mexico City, Mexico. I have been to Mexico City (where the food is incredibly cheap) and Cancun, but I have not been to Toluca. It has a population of 910,608 people. The actress Adriana Barraza, environmental activist Xiye Bastida, and well known politican Maria Elena Barrera are also from the town!

2. Early career

He began acting at the ripe age of 7. He was a teen star for his roles in Un Hillito De Sangre. He began into Hollywood in 2003 with his appearance in “Open Range” and The Terminal in 2004.

1. Andor

Andor was the biggest hit from Diego. Star Wars preaches diversity. Actors in “The Force Awakens” is Daisy Ridley (who is a female) and John Boyega (who is an African American). So, it wasn’t a they pushed Diego to become the main actor in Andor. It’s sadly been reported that there will not be a third season of Andor. Perhaps they can try to make another spin-off where Cassian is still alive.

Cassian Andor is intense and well-spoken. He hasn’t been in any of the nine mainstream films. Nonetheless, “Rogue One” was arguably better than any of the prequels in my opinion.
